Disc Oil Skimmer Construction
Main structure : The skimmer head (floating part) is made of 304/316 stainless steel or marine aluminum alloy, with the characteristics of light weight, high strength and corrosion resistance; the frame power station and transmission parts are treated with carbon steel spray plastic to enhance weather resistance.
Core working components : Oil-contacting parts such as rotary discs/rotary brushes,/gear discs are made of hydrophobic and oleophilic materials. They have both wear resistance and oil affinity, enhancing the efficiency of oil spill adsorption and stripping.
Buoy filling : The buoy is filled with closed-cell foam material to achieve double buoyancy. Even if the buoy is partially damaged, it will not sink, ensuring operational safety.
